ABOUT
I'm Michael Sansregret, a passionate creator with a diverse background spanning Mechanics, Clinical Care Communication, and Game Design and Development. I have had a lifelong love of videogames since I first controlled the titular plumber across the mushroom kingdom.
I've had the opportunity to work in a wide diversity of teams, big and small, across tiny indie projects up to enterprise software. I thrive on uncovering problems, resolving conflicts, improving processes, removing bottlenecks, and ultimately, getting things done right.
I love discovering a good problem to pick apart and collaborating with a team to discover solutions. I find that journey to be the essence of great games and the great teams behind them thrive on these challenges.
I look forward to the next challenge and what I may learn in surmounting it.
When not working I enjoy video games! Single player, multiplayer, games are a comfort space for me. It's here that I experience new stories, new worlds, and when online relax and socialize with my friends.
I do more than just videogames. I'm fortunate to live in British Columbia and I also spend my time getting out for hikes with our dog and trips to the lake for swimming. I'm also an enthusiast of amature motorsport and the thrill of high speed dynamics. I love geeking out on the engineering and work that goes into caring for and improving such machines.
When its time to just sit back and relax I watch Formula 1, or anything science fiction, and my favourite movie is Alien.
